Xcel Energy Seeks Bids for Colorado’s Biggest Solar Plant

US energy company Xcel Energy announced today that they are now soliciting bids for what they intend to be Colorado’s largest photovoltaic (PV) solar power plant. The facility will be located in the San Luis Valley and produce about 13,700-megawatt hours of electricity per year.
