Attitude Towards Environment Changing, Says Survey

The Office for National Statistics in the UK has recently made a major survey. And when all data has been collected and analyzed, the office was able to find out that people have been had an attitude change with regards to the environment.

According to the analyzed data, more and more people are leaning towards awareness of the situation of the environment. The survey also reflected that more people now have gone ‘green’. In fact, a huge 80% did claim that they felt like it was their duty to go about and recycle garbage in their homes.

Here are other results of the survey:

  • 44% were in favor for environment tax for air travels
  • 25% were flying less because they worried that doing such also helps promote climate change
  • 81% have at least one light bulb that saves energy
  • 64% do not leave their appliances plugged in during the night
