Brit Schools Go Solar
Interestingly, it looks like not only businesses and huge companies are going for solar power. Even schools are going for the power of the sun instead of electricity.
The New Britain High School is going to be one of the schools to transfer from conventional electricity to go to utilizing solar power. This was decided on after the school’s officials have decided that solar power was the way to go. To do so, the school would be undergoing a roof change – from the usual roof to a new kind of roofing material that would be able to take the rays of the sun and convert it to useful energy.
The high school would be using a new kind of roofing material that would be using a photovoltaic energy system. Officials from the school do say that such could actually help the school generate some 275 kilowatts of electricity. With such, an entire year of savings on electricity could reach up to a high of $40,000.

Hello,
Speaking of solar power and its efficiency did you know that people actually build power plants based on this alternative source of energy?
The largest solar power plant in the world is announced to be build soon in Australia, and this project aims to be the biggest photovoltaic project ever attempted. If you are interested to read more about it, please visit the following link at planetsave.com:
