Building Your Own Ideas

by Noel on February 10th, 2007

Are you one of those people gifted with a really vast imagination? Have you been dreaming and concocting of this new kind of building which would help out save more on energy?

If you are, then you might as well be excited to take part of the Lifecycle Building Challenge by EPA. According to EPA, “Lifecycle building is the design of building materials, components, information systems, and management practices to create buildings that facilitate and anticipate future changes to and eventual adaptation or dismantly for recovery of all systems, components, and materials.”

You can submit entries like a new building (which would include all the details from the foundation of the structure to the roof that it would be using), a new component (just one part of a building, or system), or a new service (which could be a new tool or just a non-conventional method).

All residents from the US are encouraged to join this challenge.
