Can You Help Lessen Effects of Global Warming?

by Noel on October 4th, 2007

Well, I guess you could. We all could. That is, if we knew how.

Good thing I came across a list of tips from wikiHow and I thought they were pretty interesting and just the kind of reminder we need to move it and do our share.

  • If you own a building, you may want to opt to use services of energy suppliers who are green.
  • During the cold months, you may want to switch to solar panels to get the heat you need. They may cost quite a bit but you’ll be enjoying the benefits in the long run.
  • Why not dress in the appropriate clothing during extreme weather like summer and winter? And while you’re at that, lessen (or add) a few degrees on your thermostat.
  • In the winter, try taking advantage of natural light and heat from the sun. All you need to do is draw away your curtains or open your blinds and just let the sun shine through.

we can also unplug home appliances when were not using them because even when they are off and pluged in we are still using energy.
