Carnival of the Green
The folks behind the London-based City Hippy and San Francisco-based TriplePundit blogs have announced the beginnings of a Carnival of the Green, to feature various writers and hosts throughout the Green and Eco blogosphere.
If you’re not familiar with the concept of blog carnivals, these are events that take place with groups of blogs related in subject matter. On a periodic basis, a different blog within the group will host a collective post, basically a digest of posts that other green bloggers have submitted for consideration over the previous week. It’s an excellant way for readers and visitors to discover new blogs and writers within topic areas that they may not have otherwise known about.
The Carnival of the Green is going to be held weekly, on Mondays, and the first one will be on November 7th at City Hippy and then the next on the 14th at TriplePundit. City Hippy has got a post with a growing schedule of the hosts after that here. Information on becoming a host yourself or how to submit posts for consideration can be found there as well.
