European Union Gives Kudos To China
All of China’s efforts in helping out in the fight against global warming were not in vain. Of course, each little step we take to win the battle against climate change does help out a lot. And China’s efforts were recognized recently by the European Union.
Guido Sacconi is the chairperson of the European Parliament’s Temporary Committee on Climate Change and on China’s commitment versus global warming, Sacconi disclosed at a recent press conference that the EU has found the Asian country to be quite committed. In fact, Sacconi furthermore disclosed that China has been lessening greenhouse gas emissions in their industry and they have also been working on ways so as to improve energy efficiency.
“A EU-China center for energy technology will help the country reach the goal by raising its energy efficiency and developing clean coal technology,” Sacconi mentioned. This of course is pretty good news and it really helps a lot if we hear more countries working like China is doing right now.
