Even Kids Fight Global Warming

Yes, even young elementary school kids are on their way towards learning how they can help fight global warming and climate change. And this is part of a program that is currently being sponsored by the Earth Day Every Day Fund which is part of the Marin Community Foundation.
The program is in full swing thanks to a donation worth $200,000 from the mentioned fund. Of course, the program just does not need finances. There should also be people working on it so as to spread the word and put the plans into actions. And that is what three non-profit groups have been doing. These groups are the Marin Conservation Corps, the Strategic Energy Innovations, and Cool the Earth.
At present, they have been able to reach out to a couple of schools but they are of course aiming for a larger number. In fact, they are looking at having the program introduced to 25 schools in Marin before this year ends.
