Give Me Solar

by Noel on March 27th, 2008

We do know what solar power is all about and just how many solar farms have sprouted in various places all around the world. We do know of some buildings which have made use of solar panels for energy rather than be connected completely to the grid.

Anyhow, while browsing the net, I chanced upon a site that tackled ten of the most interesting solar projects ever built on this planet.

Check out the list:

  • Beneixama Solar Plant - Beneixama, Spain
  • Dana Building - Michigan, United States
  • Dunster Castle (Building) - Somerset, United Kingdom
  • Edificio Telefonica (Building) - Madrid, Spain
  • Four Times Square (Building) - New York, United States
  • Girassol Solar Plant - Moura, Portugal
  • Nevada Solar One (Solar Park) - Nevada, United States
  • Pocking Solar Park - Bavaria, Germany
  • Strizki House (Building) - New Jersey, United States
  • Washington Capitol Building - Washington, D.C., United States

I really would like to see these structures in person. I know it’s gonna be amazing.
