Hands-on PV Design & Install Workshops
Solar Energy International (SEI) is looking at a busy year full of yet more awesome renewable energy educational opportunities. Among them is a chance for folks in the east to get in on some springtime solar learning.
SEI will be in Ulster Park, New York - just up the Hudson from Gotham - in April offering a couple of Solar PV workshops. Both the PV Design/Installation and Advanced PV workshops are certified by the Institute of Sustainable Power and will help to fulfill requirements for national photovoltaic certification. Here are some fo the details…
April 10-14: Photovoltaic Design & Installation - Learn how to use PV technology to produce your own electricity from the sun through practical design and installation of PV systems. This workshop is for the beginner who wants to use PV or for those seeking employment in the solar industry.
April 17-21: Advanced Photovoltaics - Intended to follow the PV Design & Install workshop and present participants with the next level of design criteria, maintenance issues and troubleshooting for PV systems. This class takes an in-depth look at all components in a code-compliant PV system.
Head on over to the SEI web site for more information on costs and how to get registered. The PV Design & Installation workshops are also going to be held throughout the year in places like Tucson, Austin, Salt Lake City, and Carbondale, Colorado to name but a few.
