It Is Time For Some Solar Football

by Noel on November 11th, 2008

If you do think about the title of this post, you may be thinking that the football would be the one that is solar powered. Well, that could not be right because a football does not need power. And so this one is all about the game and that it would be going live using solar power. Now that’s a first for me.

In this piece of news, Monday Night Football would be far different from what we have been used to seeing. See, what happens is that the game would be in a stadium that would be using power that’s been collected from the sun.

Who would be playing? Well, it is going to be a battle between the 49ers of San Francisco and the Cardinals of Arizona. The game would be played in the solar powered in the University of Phoenix Stadium.

There might not be much of a difference at one look but there is sure going to be a lot in terms of the effects on the environment.

well, I hope they make an announcement during the game so that the general populace that are watching the game at home and are at the stadium get a first hand experience of the true reliability of solar power. Maybe highlighting events like these get people thinking, “maybe I can do this for my home or business”
