Junk Mail Means More Environment Junk

by Noel on October 19th, 2007

You may have signed up to get these catalogues and flyers ages ago. In fact, you do not even remember when you signed up for it and you also do not remember where you signed up for it. Right now, you don’t even read these catalogues and you instead direct them right into the trash basket.

Well, you also know that those catalogues are printed on paper which means more trees being cut down. So what can you do about this?

Each time you receive a catalogue or a flyer you do not need, have the patience to leaf through it and find the contact information for the company or organization that sends you those flyers. Then, call them up and inform them that you are no longer interested in the catalogues. Do that until the catalogues and flyers stop coming.

Now, just imagine how many trees you may be saving in the process.
