Lightning Motors To Design Solar-Powered Motorbike
And so from this comes the grand idea of Lightning Motors. They are currently in the process of designing and developing a motorcycle that would run on electricity which would come from the converted energy of the sun. And because it uses such an energy source, the company is proud to say that they are hoping their creation would have zero emissions.
There have been some tests already done on the prototype created by Lightning Motors. Of course, one of the basic things that one has to look at would be the battery which would store the sun’s power. Experts did check and they have noted that the solar-powered motorcycle’s battery could still live for up to 3000 chargings. As per the price, that we all would have to wait and find out.

On the 2007 summer solstice in Wenatchee, WA, a solar photovoltaic dragster accelerated to 25MPH in 820 feet using solar panels & no extra power source. Using a really efficient solar panel on big bicycle wheels, might be a good way to give a battery a bit more range on a solar bicycle.
