More ZAP Electric Cars & Trucks Delivered
With the passing of time, many people now do see the benefits that we all could get out of using electric cars and trucks. And this has most certainly been reflected in the number of sales that ZAP has been experiencing. In fact, just recently, they have delivered over 500 units already.
Its electric vehicles are the XEBRA car and truck models. However, the company also is receiving more and more orders for their Zapino mopeds as well as for their ZAPPY3 scooters - both get their power from electricity.
The head of the company, Steve Schneider, does attribute such changes to the high amount of gas prices. This is the main point why people are opting to use those that use up electricity rather than fuel.
Schneider does even state, “Over the years, many have talked about making electric cars, but I believe today that ZAP is one of the only companies that has delivered over 500 electric vehicles that are being used throughout the country on a daily basis in city-speed applications. Although there are low speed vehicles on the market that reach 25 MPH, I believe ZAP and its licensed dealer network are the only source for city-speed vehicles.”
