On The Go: Largest Wind Powered Farm
In China, the largest farm that would generate power straight right out of the wind is already in operationn. This $160 million wind powered farm can be found somewhere in Daegwallyeong pass in the Chinese province of Gangwon.
Such a facility can greatly help out the environment. Another advantage to this would be that the power and energy that could be gained by converting wind power to usable energy can be used by ordinary citizens.
According to the Chinese government, each year, the entire facility can actually be able to convert wind power to 244,000 megawatts of electricity. This is in fact quite a huge number. You see, that amount of power can be actually able to power up to 50,000 homes and households without having to harm the environment. After all, with the conventional thermal power plants that need coal, the dust particles and greenhouse gases sure do harm nature.

It’s nice that China’s been implementing loads of environmental policies and programs nowadays, though it’s unfortunate that they have the most polluted cities and rivers in the world as well.
