Porsche 914 Goes Electric, Thanks To MIT Studes

News from the school did say that they are doing such “To demonstrate the viability of advanced electric vehicle technology and to help clarify what research and development has yet to be done.” The article also did continue to mention that they are changing up some parts and they are also using “lithium phosphate rechargeable batteries, which are lighter, last longer, charge up faster, have a longer lifetime [than lead-acid batteries] and don’t pose a safety risk.”
The group from MIT also has put in a new electric motor to put in the old spot which used to be for the original engine.
Hmmm… it does look like they have got everything covered. I think I may want to convert my own car as well.
