Port Townsend: Where Solar Power Is Used A Lot
In Port Townsend, you would be able to notice that plenty of homeowners are using solar power in their daily need for energy. There are around six hundred homes there that use such source of power. They have been able to tap into the advantages of solar power so much so that they even have excess converted energy which they even sell to the grid. They are not only saving much on electric bills but they are also earning from the unused power that their panels have converted.
Rodger Schmitt is looking at transferring to this community and he said, “There’s going to be more and more movement in this direction. And the more we do it the more it’s going to encourage others, we hope.” He is transferring with his wife, Jill, and they are going to shell out around $30,000 to have a solar power system in their home. They are going to have the system installed on their home’s roof.

Actually at the beginning of June 2008, there were about 600 homes in all of Washington State that had grid-tied solar pv systems.
We are electrical contractors that have installed 110 of those, and about 40 in Port Townsend, which is without a doubt, the solar capital of the Pacific Northwest. ;-)

Hello, I am looking for an affordable solar panel for the top front portion of a Westfalia VW van. Do you know of such a thing?
