Recycling Old Bicycles Benefit Disabled Young Ones
Did you know that your unused, unwanted, and totally forgotten old bicycle in your garage could actually be recycled so much so that it can bring smiles to young ones with disabilities?
Yes. That is quite true. There is a support group named Signpost and they actually do work on helping out children who have special needs. And one of the latest things they have done was to refurbish and restore old bikes. When the project was completed, they presented the bicycles to some disabled youths.
To start out with the project, Signpost went in on a deal with the West Lothian Council. They worked together so as to find old and unwanted bikes. And when they had collected quite a lot, they worked on the bicycles and made them usable and look pleasing to the eye.
The newly refurbished bicycles were then given to more than a dozen disabled young ones. Lesly Mount, the one of the project managers, expressed, “It was great to see the children’s faces when they saw the bikes and we would like to thank the team. Hopefully, we will repeat the project next summer.”

I am looking for a bike or trike for my child with autism—he’s 10 and nearly 100lbs. He needs very secure training wheels or a trike. Could you help me find one? We live near Cape Cod MA.
