Schools in Salisbury To Go Solar

by Noel on September 10th, 2008

Many offices, businesses, and homes are certainly going solar. Some towns would even be receiving free energy from solar power projects. And that is not all that there is to solar power. Schools are also benefitting a lot from what solar power has got to offer.

One of the most recent events is what is going to happen to some schools in Salisbury. See, they have actually been chosen to be the lucky ones to get free energy through free solar panels which is estimated to be worth £20,000. Now that is a huge amount of money which schools certainly would not have the money to shell out.

Thanks to the Co-Operative’s Green Energy for School program, such schools in Salisbury would be enjoying the benefits that come with having solar panels installed on their grounds. Now this project is actually in its second phase already.

I’m wishing more schools would be benefitting from this program.
