Sharp Thin Solar Cells Production To Go Up

More and more thin solar cells would be coming to the market, thanks to Sharp’s goal of being the world’s largest producer of solar cells. Sharp Company is based in Japan and according to a spokesperson from the company, they are looking at foreign markets so as to sell the additional cells that they would be producing.
So as to be able to reach their goal, the company has already started putting up a new facility in Osaka, Japan. Come 2010, the plant would be fully operational and that would mean more thin solar cells in the industry. When that happens, would this also mean that the price of solar cells would also go down in reference to the Law of Supply and Demand? But with the high need for thin solar cells on the other hand, would this then mean that Sharp may be looking at adding some dollars to their products’ current tag price?
