Solar Powered Water Fountains
I was watering our garden the other day and I noticed something is missing from our garden. I used to have a small AC powered water fountain located at the front of our house. About a year ago, a kid from our neighbor was playing with his basketball and accidentally hit our terracotta water fountain. I haven’t replaced it since then.
Now that I remember what it was, I checked online if somebody is selling a Solar Powered water fountain. I found a couple of nice ones but the one that fits my budget (and it also looks cool) is the one if found from serenityhealth.com
For less than a hundred bucks, you get a small solar panel that can drive a 6v solar water pump. Never again pay for electricity for your solar powered water fountain.

About this time of year (early september) All of the seasonal garden centers start closing down. I’m not in the marked for a solar fountain, but I’ve stumbled across several that were marked as much as 80% - 90% off in some of the local department stores. I saw some really nice rock pile ones that were marked down from $180 to $30 last week.

Indeed. I’ve worked in the retail industry for quite some time. After a number of years you get a feel for the way the higher ups think. It makes it pretty easy to spot these deals when you know what is going on behind the scenes.
Christmas is around the corner and thats where all major retail outfits have to make the money. If they’ve still got pallets of garden furnature, fountains, yard decorations, ect left over at this time of year, it is in the way. Retailers are better off selling below cost the larger items. It would be a bad idea to let these large items take up valuable salesfloor realestate during the peak christmas season.
In turn, attempting to clearance these items too close to christmas would cut into the profits because people would buy these items instead of the full price christmas items when looking for gifts. Right now is the perfet time to buy your garden furnature and garden fountains.
