Spice Girls Tour, Said To Be Unfriendly To Nature

Those who loved the Spice Girls during their heyday may be so happy to learn that the girls are having a reunion and they would be spending it touring some countries to give joy and music to their fans. As hyped as the event is going to be, those on the green side are saying that the event is going to be very unfriendly to the environment.
How can this be? Well, according to green experts, each member of the Spice Girls are going to be given a private jet. These would be huge Lear jets which could carry all of the needed families and crew members. However, Alex Lambie, an expert in green energy switching, says that just through their flights, the girls would be creating 9,500 tonnes of CO2.
Lambie did say, “It’s everyone’s responsibility to limit the damage we’re doing to our planet. But clearly, some celebrities feel they don’t count. While we have events like Live Earth to raise awareness, many stars are still taking huge liberties such as using private jets.”
