Statue Of Liberty Gets Light From The Wind
On Ellis Island, everything that is in there gets its power straight right out of the wind. And yes, so does the lady Statue of Liberty.
This piece of information is according to a new release given out by New Channel 4. And the new station also did say that the Statue of Liberty and all those in and around the island of Ellis are powered by wind power.
How does this come about? Well, you see, in Pennsylvania, there are windmills there that convert the power of the wind into usable electricity. And these windmills are what channels the converted energy to Ellis Island. What actually happens is that the created electricity is channeled to the electrical grid of the US and from that the electricity is fed stright right up to the torch of Lady Liberty.
At least, it looks like Lady Liberty is helping conserve the energy and help protect the environment.
