The Wonderful Solar World

I came across a pretty interesting article. I know we all are aware of the new Seven Wonders of the modern world, this article that I’m talking about discusses the Seven Wonders of the world of solar power. Imagine that.
Here are some of the most interesting ones that I’ve found:
- Helicopter Search Lights - based on Xenon gas that was so powerful that the LAPD now uses them on their choppers. So this means that cops would be able to see stuff on the ground when they are doing their search operations.
- Water White Glass - is found in NY’s Freedom Tower. Transmits 98% of all the light and thus creates the effect of a curtain wall.
- Car Windshields - the basis of a new kind of solar panels wherein they wouldn’t easily break and would be very durable as well. Solar panel makers discovered that car windshields were made from two pieces of glasses which sandwich a plastic sheet between them. That’s the idea behind the new kind of solar panels.
