Toxic Trespass: Documentary On Environment and Health

There were times when documentaries would leave us all snoring in our seats. However, the way films are made and how they are presented has changed with time and it sure is an interesting film to watch, this Toxic Trespass.

Toxic Trespass is a documentary created by Barri Cohen. According to him, he is hoping that this work of his would help educate Canadians and all other viewers about the link between our children’s health and what we do to the environment. He showed his documentary during the eighth Planet in Focus festival wherein tons of other people showed their stuff on environmental issues.

Cohen asks everybody, “We’re talking about at any one time, thousands and thousands of chemicals are out there. We trust that someone is awake at the switch, making sure that anything we’re consuming, breathing, drinking and eating is safe. I wanted to know, is it safe? And how do we know it’s safe? And who are the gatekeepers who are telling us it’s safe?”
