US National Solar Tour Day This Weekend
The 10th annual National Solar Tour day is this coming Saturday, October 1st across the most of the United States. Organized by the American Solar Energy Society (ASES), the tour day is a chance for folks to visit neighbours who are already utilizing solar and renewable energy strategies and learn first hand how to trim energy bills or watch electric meters run backwards.
Part of the larger National Energy Awareness Month held every October, at last count, tours had been scheduled in 43 states plus the District of Columbia. Here’s the listing of participating states on the ASES web site and from there, you’ll be able to track down whether there will be any tours happening close to you.
Here’s the link to the main page of the National Solar Tour day where you’ll find links to further resources on the art of solar living.
